My mission is to serve writers, dreamers, and badass humans who are committed to healing and transformation.

Hey, I’m Rachel!

I’m a writer, editor, memoir artist, poet, and champion for independent authors. I’m a graduate of Northwestern University, a certified yoga teacher, an energy healer, and an ultramarathon runner turned daily walker, too.

I empower individuals to release resistance, harness perfectionism, and build unstoppable momentum in their wellness and creative pursuits.

I love helping first-time authors share inspiring stories and launch bestselling books. I also love creating unforgettable, on-brand copy for wellness brands and strategic marketing campaigns for small businesses.

I believe in creating impactful marketing with integrity. I support writers in learning how to put themselves out there online, without feeling overwhelmed or guilty about it.

I grew up in northern California and now live in Salt Lake City, Utah.

In addition to my writing endeavors, I also teach and practice yoga. I’m the founder of Alive in the Fire.

I incorporate a variety of holistic practices into my routine, including yoga, contrast therapy, strength training, energy work, meditation, hiking, and walking.

Storytelling with strength and sensitivity

I'm here to help you bridge the gap between your heart and your words.

To embrace the healing process that is innate with any writing project. Discovering the power of your voice is an emotional journey— and one you shouldn’t have to face alone.

I can help you discover how self-care and creativity go hand-in-hand.

I’m here to help you write boldly and heal deeply.

Surface-level, boring @$$ writing doesn’t interest me. And there’s more AI-generated writing in the world than ever. In order to stand out, the world needs to see the real you, the emotional and human you, and I can help you find the words to do just that.

I'm all about diving deep, finding the soul in your story, and unleashing your authentic voice. Let's ditch the mundane and craft something extraordinary together.

Fun Facts About My Journey As a Writer:

In third grade, I won the Placer County Spelling Bee. 😆🏆🐝

Senior year of high school, I was voted “most likely to publish a book” by my peers.

I started college as a journalism major, but ended up switching to a degree in English when I got into the creative writing program (with a focus in poetry).

Ages 10-32: I dreamt of writing books, but had no idea where to start.

Ages 32-36: I've published 8 books in 4 years.

Over the last decade, I’ve helped over 100 authors on their non-fiction, poetry, and memoir manuscripts. I believe the book writing, editing, and publishing process is about more than just authoring a book— it’s about authoring a new version of you.

I also specialize in supporting small business owners and wellness brands with their website, email, and social copy through strategic campaigns.

I’m obsessed with the intersection of wellness and creativity, and helping you feel confident in your unique voice.

What makes me unique?

Versatility & Well-Roundedness

I’ve worked with authors from all backgrounds and experience levels. I’m equally as comfortable with a 400-page manuscript as I am with 250 characters of ad copy. Long form or short form, and however fast you want to work, I’m all ears.

Unwavering Support

I care— a lot. I’m here to champion your success and help you cross the finish line with your project. I will help you discover your voice and unleash your full potential. Your story deserves to be told with courage and boldness.

Open-minded and Open-hearted

People tell me all the time that they’re amazed at how open to feedback I am. Writing and editing are my soul’s purpose, my higher calling in this lifetime. I trust the process and don’t cling tightly to first drafts.

I’m a champion for the voices of “small” businesses and authors — because in reality, you’re a very big deal.
